When your endodontic treatment has been completed, Dr. Kreutzer will send a record of your treatment to your restorative dentist. Your restorative dentist will decide on what type of restoration is best to protect your tooth and to restore proper function to the tooth. You should contact your restorative dentist's office to have the tooth restored within 3-4 weeks following completion of your endodontic therapy to prevent loss of the temporary filling and possible re-contamination of the root canals. Please avoid chewing on the affected side until your restorative dentist has placed a protective restoration on the treated tooth.

Included in your endodontic treatment is a short follow-up examination to check the progress of your healing. There is no additional fee charged for this first follow-up examination.
